My mother doesn't care about my girlfriend as long as I'm happy, so there wouldn't be any race related arguments. However, if she were racist, I'd stick to my relationship and avoid arguing about the issue. In Japan, don't have problems in that respect either, since I've adapted quite well, and am also a white person. For some reason, foreigners, especially people from Europe and the US are popular here, but some are more popular than others. However, I value a love based relationship more than marriage itself, so I wouldn't make a fuss about thngs...
