the number of interracial marrige has been increasing in Japan, however, older generations don't seem to be happy with that.
white people are most likey to be accepted,however, some people have a negative image towards white people because of WW2.
black people will be accepted. nevertheless, your parents will be surprised at the same time as only a few Japanese get married with black people.
Asians, particularly Chinese and Korean will be refused.
Japanese are prejudiced agaist them. looking down on them.
why some white people are prejudiced agaisnt coloured people?

In Japan, it will happen like the movie, I think.
However, older people don't care they are blak or white not so much. They care where they come from. Because they saw the WW2 and they don't have good image to Chinese.It's very defficult problem. Sometimes, parents care lover's age or their occupation. For example, my friend is againsted her marrige because of her lover's age. He is 14 years older than her. She is trying her parents consent to her marrige, but she says it's very defficult.
But if I'm in this situation, I will try to make good connection of them. I don't wanna my parents hate my lover.

My mother doesn't care about my girlfriend as long as I'm happy, so there wouldn't be any race related arguments. However, if she were racist, I'd stick to my relationship and avoid arguing about the issue. In Japan, don't have problems in that respect either, since I've adapted quite well, and am also a white person. For some reason, foreigners, especially people from Europe and the US are popular here, but some are more popular than others. However, I value a love based relationship more than marriage itself, so I wouldn't make a fuss about thngs...
